Novel #1 - Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman

Today our class chose which book they wanted to read first, I stumbled across Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Having read the first chapter I am having mixed feelings. It's about three men that stumble across an island or land of only women during an expedition. They decide to go back and investigate. That is where i stopped and shall pick up tomorrow in class.

Johan Shea-Bound

After months of waiting to make a splash, Omar Minaya pulled off what I consider to be a dream trade. The Mets have acquired Johan Santana from the Minnesota Twins for 4 prospects. Of those 4 prospects, Mets number one prospect and a top ten in all of baseball, was somehow miraculously not included! Mets nation can once again rejoice and say "In Omar we trust." He stole the best pitcher in baseball from the Twins and once again the Mets are the front runners in the National League. With my faith in the organization restored I can go back to counting down the days until Opening Day 2008!

Feb 2nd - The Cool

This blog will certainly to allow me to spread my love of music and in honor of this Saturday's upcoming concert, I've decided to dedicate my first post to Lupe Fiasco. Cohan and I are going to be attending his concert at Nokia Theater at Time Square and I will be writing a full review after the show. The video is for the first single of his newest CD "The Cool." It's called Superstar.

First Post - Day 1

The blog is up and running. I'm still trying to figure out how to manuever it around espeically the pictures and things, but this will be a nice journal for the second semester.
